It wasn't until she has hit by a wave of autumn air that her mind swam back to a semblance of reality. Outside in the cool, crisp air, she was just one of a larger group all decked out in masks on their way down an overgrown path. "Where are we going?" She murmured quietly to the guy walking beside her. He had a glassy look in his eyes, but he also had the information Zho was looking for. "We're going to the abandoned asylum." His grin was lopsided, his speech slurred. "See who can stay in the longest." He paused, debating something before adding: "I heard its haunted, y'know." The thought of being inside a haunted asylum thrilled Zho, she'd not only had a fascination for ghosts and the paranormal, but got a massive kick out of frightening herself. Nodding she continued along with the others. Her high was wearing off, but she'd be sure to take a few more hits once she got inside the Asylum. By the time Zhoenon and the rest of the group stood before the Asylum, Zhoenon was distinctly aware of her surroundings and was left with only the vague pulse of the sighing world. She wanted more. Only half aware of her surroundings, Zho watched a tall man in a goblin mask stand on top of a decrepit bench. "All right! Here's the deal everyone! I've two free hits for the person who stays the longest inside the Asylum tonight. It's 9 now, whoever can last until 1 or later, is the winner. At 1, we'll ring a bell to summon everyone out. G'luck ladies!" After the goblin-faced man finished his little speech, he handed out flashlights to everyone who was going inside. Zhoenon gathered a flashlight and wound her way through the crowd and into the entrance. Instantly she was hit by a strange air that sent chills through her spine and made her grin all at once. "Awesomely spooky." She murmured to no one but herself and wandered deeper in. Finding a spot that was relatively empty of others that had begun to tentatively wander inside the untended asylum, Zhoenon dug into her pocket for her drug of choice. Two more hits, and the world was alive again. ![]() [Home] { 1 -- Chapter Two - The Dare -- 3 -- 4 } Ssa'agrinth -- Zhoenon ![]()
